X-ray Services

Using our in house X-ray set and digital imaging system we are able to x-ray objects and provide the customer with digital images in ready to be viewed by a Radiographer.

Our system is capable of low energy, high resolution digital X-ray of subjects of sizes up 450mm x 350mm (single shot incorporating entire object) or larger subjects using multiple X-ray shots. The system produces images with pixel sizes less than 150 microns, showing subject features in great detail.

Low energy X-raying is extremely effective for inspection and investigation work on subjects made up of thin or low density materials such as aluminium or thin steel, but we are able to X-ray subjects encased in up to approximately 40-50mm of steel, although image quality may vary depending on the density and thickness of the subject.

We are able to apply a selection of filters and processing to aid image quality and inspection and the final images can be saved in a variety of formats for future viewing or archiving.
